From the beginning of the new scrap collection season 2008 company “Povolzhjevtormet” focused on work with large metallurgical plants of the region.
At the cost of this is planned to increase the capacity of billets and scrap processing and to provide stable delivery of raw materials during the whole year.
At the present time scrap is being shipped to LLC “Povolzhjevtormet” from the four biggest companies of chemical and metallurgical industries according to the concluded contracts, and negotiations about scrap supplies with some big production plants (including oil and gas companies) in the South of Russia are being held.
“Povolzhjevtormet” resumed in full capacity the operations of its production and procuring area in Volzhsky. From this area the company will ship raw materials to OJSC “Krasny Oktyabr” by motor transport.
